REGISTRATION FOR FAN 2012 IS NOW OPEN!
Like FAN 2010, FAN (Feehan And Novak) 2011 was amazing —
again!
#1 New York Times Bestselling Author Christine Feehan
and I hosted the three-day party on the historic Delta
King, a completely renovated 1920's riverboat that plied the
Sacramento River between Sacramento and San Francisco from 1927-1940.
Our 100 fabulous guests (the most we could manage — you
can see some of them in our photo galleries) took home so much
swag many had to ship it.
I'll let one of our guests,
Monica Hernandez, give you the highlights:

Just
had an incredible weekend at the 2011 FAN event, it was amazing!!!
Our event began on Friday afternoon with check-in where we received
a goody bag with some great books and among other items a bullet
keychain from Brenda (loved it!). It was such a delight to run
into some of the ladies from last year's event, like seeing long
lost friends and of course meeting some wonderful new ladies.
Friday
night was a roaring 20's theme with a Texas hold 'em card game.
Everyone looked just fab in their costumes! We were gifted with
another goody bag that included a beautiful decorated box (mine
is red & decorated with a leopard) and an hour glass. Lots of
great prizes were given out for the winners of the poker games
and there was even a prize for the best costume of the evening.
I was lucky enough to be the winner which was truly a big surprise!
My prize was a gift bag with the items given at FAN 2011 and was
a bit different than what I took home last year. My daughter quickly
pointed out that I didn't need two kaleidoscopes and tried to
make off with one; of course, as much as I love my daughter, I
told her that she was risking life & limb if she even thought
about it, the nerve!! Anyway, we all had a good time Friday night!
Saturday
began with breakfast and FANGO, Brenda's and Christine's version
of bingo, with the ladies calling. Then we had a nice candid chat
with Brenda and Christine where they talked about what motivated
them and where ideas came from. Lots of intense probing trying
to get some info from Brenda and Christine but they refused to
give us any, now we'll just have to wait. After our chat, we had
a booksigning. We ended the evening with Brenda's murder mystery
dinner. Now that had a very surprising and stunning twist. The
last murder victim was Christine . . . and it was Brenda's husband,
Ted, that was responsible!! I mean, even though it was pretend,
how could they?? Luckily for us, Christine is just fine. The evening
was a lot of fun, the actors and everyone who played a part were
very good, a great night!!
Our
event ended Sunday with a farewell brunch where we were greeted
by Christine and Brenda and gifted with a beautiful bracelet.
As I said, it was an amazing weekend. Thanks to all of you who
helped put this together. Special thanks to Domini and Jo Carol
and of course Brenda and Christine for wanting to share it all
with us.

View our slideshow and photo galleries to get a feeling for what
it was like, if you weren't there (or to enjoy it again if you
were!) — then mark your calendars to join us next March
for FAN
2012.
