Thanks for attending my first on-line Christmas party! It was wonderful to *see* so many of you there. My favorite feature was the virtual bookstore. I didn't think I liked my new covers until I saw them hanging on that wall. Now I think they're pretty cool. :-) (You can still see the bookstore here, in the program.)

I also enjoyed the sleigh rides. My 12-year-old son dropped by to take me for a ride. We also skated on the outdoor rink. I was out of town at the time, trying to finish a book, so being able to interact in this 3D winter wonderland made it seem as if I really got to be with him. Next year, we'll throw another party, and I hope you'll all attend.

Raffle Prizes

Because it was such a new forum, many of the raffle items went unclaimed (I think people were still trying to figure out how to move around and keep their clothes on--LOL). I saw some of you wearing boxes (and I wore a few myself, trying to buy those skates). Please visit the Web site to see if you've won a prize. I'll leave the numbers posted for a while because some of you didn't receive your raffle tickets until a day or two late (thanks to the busy post office).

If you have won a prize, please send an email to my web gal, Jeannie with your raffle ticket number and the item you won. Please respond by December 30th. If the "must be present" prizes are not claimed, we will draw random names from the attendees at the party to win them.

Also, many of you didn't know how to unwrap the present I had for you (it was under the beautiful tree inside the big tent). I was trying to give you your choice of two very cool 3D screensavers I had designed. One is a very handsome man (construction worker). I thought that might be appropriate for all you romance lovers. The other is a two-slide suspense screensaver. They are both available to you for free download--but have the 3D glasses I sent you handy for maximum effect! :-)

This is for my next book, THE PERFECT COUPLE, which will be out in late July 09. THE PERFECT LIAR will be out a month later, and THE PERFECT MURDER will be out a month after that.
